The primary objective of the Afghan Learning Academy is to help and support the education system in Afghanistan. Parallel to our main mission, we also respond to emergencies whether they are natural or man made and provide help to needy people in Afghanistan.

Ramadan Food Package Campaign:
145-food packages have been distributed to the underprivileged individuals, including widows, orphans, and families in need.
Due to their circumstances, ALA prioritized home deliveries for the majority of the packages this year, resulting in fewer photographs taken during the distribution process.

Thanks to a generous family from Kandahar, 45 wheelchair were donated to the Academy which were distributed to the qualified disabled people in Kandahar city.

Thousands Displaced
The latest conflict around Kandahar city has displaced thousands of woman and children which are in dire need of humanitarian assistance.
More than $20,000 were raised to help these internally displace people.
The situation is getting worse and thousands need your support. Your donations will truly make a difference for them and the Academy is very thankful for your support.

Thanks to you, we were able to provide food to more than 500 families and distributed one thousand hot meals in the holy month of Ramadan. Furthermore, 30 orphan kids were provided with cloths and your donated cash was distributed to hundreds of needy people.;

Covid-19
Covid-19 was once in a century pandemic which created not only a health crisis but also brought an economic hardship around the world. The impact was more forceful in countries like Afghanistan, specially the vulnerable educational communities.
Afghan Learning Academy was able to distribute more than $40,000 worth food to orphans, widows and laid off teacher.
